Message injectors, and it goes "thud", one guess is that you flooded a cylinder with gas, thus locking up the engine. (I hope not because that means you've got to mess with injector o-rings again.) If the engine doesn't turn over by hand, pull the plugs and try again. You may see gas come out a spark plug hole. .... P.S.: the clutch has nothing to do with it.
